It's 2:45 PM and I am getting ready to run in the rain. I ran in a typhoon in the Philippines and it felt really good. The weather was considerably hotter. Today I will run in the cold California rain. The hardest part about running in the rain is drying off the running shoes. It seems like my shoes stay on the moldy side all winter. I have several pairs of shoes so I can properly dry them. I had 1 pair of shoes that were caked in mud for 3 months before I put the hose to them to clean them up.
My boys will not be running with me today. Mommy will keep them dry inside.
I will don my Goretex rain jacket and white runners cap. I am ready to slog through the rain.
